If you have a complex issue or cannot find the information you need on the Department of Home Affairs website, you can call the Global Service Centre on +61 2 6196 0196. The Global Service Centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Have your documents ready to establish your identity.

Visit the Biometric Collection Centre: Once you have applied for your visa and have received a Biometric requirement letter from the Department of Home Affairs, you need to visit our Biometric Collection Centre to submit your biometric information during which your fingerprints and photo will be captured at the Biometric Collection Centre. Carefully read through the below instructions before visiting visa application centers;
You no longer need to book an appointment to submit your biometrics data as part of your
Australian visa application. Just walk into any Australian Biometric Collection Centre in
Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore during opening hours. For more information, please visit Australian High Commission website
Only customers with Biometric Requirement Letters are allowed into the Biometric Collection Centre. The only exceptions are those accompanying children under 16 years-of-age or customers who need special assistance for health reasons or disability.
Please bring your Biometric Requirement Letter along with your current and valid Passport, travel document or national ID card with photo with you to the Biometric Collection Centre to present to staff/security.
You will need to pay the VFS Global service fee at the Biometric Collection Centre. The service fee is per person, inclusive of all taxes, and must be paid in cash at the center. Fee once paid will not be refunded. For details on VFS Global service fee, please click here and select a center.
You will need to submit your biometric data at the Biometric Collection Centre in person. Find out what happens at the Biometric Collection Centre. Please note: Wait times may apply at the Centres and we appreciate your patience with our team as they assist you.
You can track your application status online. After you have submitted your biometric data at the Biometric Collection Centre, you will need to wait for your visa decision notification by the Department of Home Affairs in your ImmiAccount. For more information on visa processing times, click here.
